Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

How good of shape does the back tire need to be in for the track? Mine is in pretty good shape but there is some wear on one side ( thanks Oni ) but not enough to hinder its performance and would be fine to run on for the next year.

Its hard to see in the shitty lighting ( in my parking garage at work ), but you can notice the ring on the outside of the tire.

Im just nervous I dont have everything in order to be able to let loose on the track this weekend.

Also, what do you guys do about fuel? Bring some with you or buy it at the track?

As I said before take a large gas can with you filled with gas of course.  Your tires are fine

fill the bike up before you go and that already gives you 130 miles or so if you do the math on the 1.78 mile long track = 73 laps ,thats alot of laps for a beginner just saying.
so if you bring an additional 5 gallon of fuel ,you should be set for the day,
correct me if i'm wrong,

you going this saturday or sunday?

Whats your guys thoughts on which seat to use? I have the one with the comfort seat and rear fairing or the stock long seat. The longer seat will let me slide on it easier but wont be as comfortable... Do you think it would make much of a difference?

The stock seat should be better at the track. As you said it allows you to slide from side to side easier.
