Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Did Rossi cause a earthquake in Italy?

I guess what I do not get would be that fact that speed hates motorcycles so much, why do they have the copyright to this stuff and won't sell to someone actually gives a shit about motorcycle racing...

The "usual" speed commentators suck ass, a few weeks ago they Jason Pridmore and Greg White awesome pairing.  Ralph Shaheen sucks ass and I do not believe that he has ever raced a motorcycle.

On the positive side congrats to Ben Bostrom. Nice to see him on top of the podium. Got to tell ya I did not even know Eric was back racing again until I watched the race Sunday night. The state of motorcycle racing in the US is in bad shape. It is not Speeds fault. The ratings are not there because the audience is small. They have to sell this shit to advertisers. Look at the crowds at the GP in Indy. Not even close to an auto race. If they were racing Harleys they would have 500,000 in one weekend. NASCAR has control of AMA so let us see what happens over the next couple of years. Maybe they can get Dale Jr. to race a bike and people will give a shit. You have to get an audience and you cannot get that without fans. The fans are loyal but a small number. The IRL is on the Versus network for this same reason. You got to have advertisers and they don't spend the big bucks when nobody is watching. If nobody is watching the time slot sucks. There is no quick fix to it either. The AMA and NASCAR is the best hope motorcycle racing has got.

My advice for life and riding a motorcycle is the same, wear a helmet.

A great example of how SPEED ranks is the comparison with Fox Sports for F1 coverage.  I wish Fox would tak everything that is non-NASCAR away from Speed.  They do a much better job.  And aside from racing, their only bike show is about stuntas.
