I started this thread on DML and thought i would move it over to here now, maybe i will get a better responce!

Hi, everyone my name is Aaron but you can... well call me just about anything, i am known by alot of odd names around and will answer to just about anything you call me. any who, i am new to the world of Ducatis Hell i am new to the world of street motorcycles and i was wondering if there were any other moster/ducati owners in the Fort Wayne area.

I have been told that there are two maybe three of us in the area including one who is sapose to be a "ducati master michanic" and i would love to meet someone that rides a real bike not some... no offence to anyone who rides yamaha, handa ect... but they all sound like weed wackers on steroids though alot of my good friends ride mostly yamahas, but i digress.

even if you are not in my area but may know someone that is i would greatly appreciat any contact with other fellow Ducatists.

thanks
Aaron (DesmoDreamer)

Aaron I'm Mike (ToasterTank)  I ride a 2005 Road King and a 1973 BMW R75/5 Antique.  Haven't bought my first Duc yet.  Looking as we speak.  I like all kinds of bikes.  I do like the Ducs.  From Mishawaka Ind.  Love to ride.

I know crazyducdude, a member here, owns a 999 that he tracks and he goes to school in Ft Wayne.  There are also a bunch of us that go out to dinner every week in New Carlisle.  It's a bit of a ride for you but you're welcome to come out and I'm sure we could find you a couch to crash on if you wanted to stay overnight.

yeah maybe let me know when!

I wanted to clarify my statement about the weed whacker i think there may have been some miss understanding!  what i meant is all these small/low CC bikes that sound more like... well all the cheaply modified import cars out there no specific bike/car, i love most bikes and even more so most cars but if you are going to mod something do it right not cheap!!!

I just wanted to get that out there as to not make a bad first impression with anyone!!!

Welcome to the group, Aaron.  Myself and crazyducdude are from Syracuse, about 45 min. northwest of the Fort, and there are some decent twisty bits between us.  I have no idea who the "ducati master michanic" is, but I take care of all my own work, as well as several others.

I don't care what you ride, as long as it has two wheels & a motor, and it actually gets ridden, hard and wet, not just rubbed with a diaper.  Bonus points if you can shag the edges of the tires and back it into corners.......... Grin

I'm curious to hear what you think about Harleys

well I respect Harleys and their riders but i am absolutly inlove with the V-rod and wish that i could afford one!!!

as for likeing or disliking hogs i am kind of indiferent i do however absolutly lover custom choppers (as long as they are done well and tastefully).

mostly my beef is with the cheaply moded and shitty sounding cars and bikes.

Witch reminds me, i saw a really badass new mustang a few days ago. But it had one of those pissed off bumble bee exhausts on it. Some guys just don't get it, dumbass ruined the whole car IMHO. Sad

On topic,
I've seen a few harleys i would own. They're not my normal choice, but they can be pretty sharp, if done right.
