Need  some help from my fellow Hooligans:  Having problems with my 2009 1198s.  Starts up fine and when it idles it sounds like it is missing.  When I crack the throttle it boggs like its running on one cylinder.  If I hold the throttle open it kicks in then it boggs again.  I'm not the the greatest mechanic but is there anything I can check or anyone wants to lend a hand I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.

my buddies 1199 would bog and cut out at 4000rpm or 5000rpm, I can't remember which due to the O2 sensor being unplugged, maybe you can start there...   Maybe its a spark plug issue, bad, fouled...

Agree with CDD... check the easy things: plugs, all wire connectors, ground connections, battery voltage.

How long has the fuel been in the tank?  Is it ethanol free fuel?

I filled the tank aprox. 2 weeks prior to the problems and put aprox. 30 miles on that tank of gas.  I did not see any error  codes .  And Mario you can ride it once I get it out for the spring.
