not so sure Oni looks like it might have the look of the spy photos that Mario posted.  Not sure how I like like what I have seen of this possible new front end. But hey I did not like the look of the original multi or the 999 when they came out and I would love to have one now so who knows. One thing I do know is that with the wife leaving IBM and not commuting out of state/contry it will be a lot harder to hide a new bike in the garage.
New pics.... maybe

The funky looks really don't bother me (except the plumbing), and I like the dirt bike-style shrouds.

Functionally speaking, it's a good replacement for the ST4.

But it damn sure ain't a Multi Roll Eyes

Ducati is delighted to announce the 2010 model range, announced just moments ago in Milan, Italy. We are excited to say that in a year most manufacturers are holding back on R&D expenditures and new models, Ducati has continued its aggressive renovation of the model line.

The highlight of the new additions is without doubt the new Multistrada 1200. An entirely new design from the ground up, the bike is set to redefine its class, and represent a giant leap forward in motorcycle technology.

In addition to the new Multistrada, significant changes have been made to the Hypermotard 1100; now aptly named the Hypermotard 1100EVO. For the most demanding of sport riders, there is also the Hypermotard 1100EVO SP; which takes the concept to its most extreme form.

The Superbike family also has three new additions for 2010: the 1198 S Corse Edition, the 1198 R Corse Edition, and the 848 Superbike in a Matte Black finish- specially priced at only $12,995.

Looks like another super retard, excuse me, motard bike. If you try to please everyone you end up pleasing no one. They tried to please everybody with this one. For the already Multi faithful this is probably a good replacement. This sure as hell is not a ST3 or anything close. They have a hit with the new Street Fighter so I guess that will have to be enough. It just looks like the same committee that designed the camel came up with this one.
