I like my seat and I think it's the thing on your list that you will get the most long term comfort out of. Then again, if you don't have decent mirrors, I can't say enough about CRG bar end mirrors

I honestly didn't like my CRGs. They look great and most of the time are sufficient but at night, on the freeway, they're useless. Napoleons aren't as good looking but they work better than CRGs IMO.

You should probably look at doing a tail chop before replacing the turn signal indicators as the mounting nubs on the whale tail are excessive and will look odd. Mirrors? You really only need them for lane changes as all are too small to determine if it is a cop behind you (as it usually is when you ride with Grifo). Anything in your mirror should be getting smaller anyway.

What Prem said..... a hacksaw is your friend
I'd put leathers/track time at the top of your list... best money you'll ever spend on a bike.
You'll need asbestos underoos with the gel seat in the summertime.... try Sargent... but for track use, stock seat is better.
The CRGs are a nice piece, but at $12 each, it's tough to beat Third Eyes.

Oni already did the tail chop, guys. I agree with sTD, I wish I'd bought leathers a long time ago, I already could have done a bunch of track days and I kick myself in the ass for it.
Oni, it all depends on what makes you happy bro. Until the past few weeks, almost all of my mods cost next to nothing. Sure I had to buy a few tools here & there, but it was stuff I could have used anyway. Buy a couple of spray cans and go to town. Grab a 6-pack and I'll come up and help.
If you want good signals, check out shock racing. I got some on the front and they're bright as hell, they're LED.
I just got my Pazzo levers and they're gorgeous, I can't wait to mount them up to see if I like them better than stock. I think it was money well spent if they're as comfy as they look.

After asking around a little bit, sTD pointed out (thank you by the way Troy
) that I'm not able to use my suspension at this time to it's potential as it sits with my present ability. I was going to respring my bike front and back with fluid for $250, but I could spend just a little bit more and have adjustable suspension off of a SBK. Not drop good money and still have shitty forks. Maybe after a bunch of track days, once I learn a few things and I can get to where I can push my bike to it's limit then I'll look into doing some suspension changes.

I've got the gel DP seat and really haven't had a heat issue. I've ridden daily to work and to school throughout the majority of the year. I always left my bike parked outside for 8 hours or more in the sun. Once on a very hot day, when I got on the bike around 2pm after it sat for 4 hours in direct sun, the seat was pretty warm for about 10 minutes. I could ride it but I could feel the heat. After 10 minutes it seemed to have cooled enough that I wouldn't notice it. Regardless I wouldn't do this -
I know that the Sargent seat is also good quality and you might like the higher seat height being so tall (compared to me
). The Sargent does sit noticeably higher than the DP seat, which is actually a bit lower than stock. The DP is cheaper than the Sargent, just thought I'd mention that...

Ewwww...............
The DP gel seat I had on the Multi would burn yer bum after an hour in the sun... maybe just because the Multi is so much faster than your Monster it radiates that much more heat?

I've heard people on the DML talk about having to put a towel over their gel seat to keep it from getting too warm.... I guess maybe my ass is tough..... or those people all live in Arizona where they get real sun.
