I've been working with Corsair to have alternator covers produced.  I had them cut a prototype and just received it in the mail today.  Most of the covers they do are logos etched into a cover but I wanted our logo done in a relief cut and I plan to do enamel inlay of the red, white, and green colors.  The prototype was done on a gold cover because they had one handy but the final product, should this work out, will be done on black anodizing to make the logo really pop.

I still need to do the enamel work, but here's the prototype.  Corsair ships them with a new O-ring and stainless steel hardware to mount it.

I'm intending to have them done in the mulitstrada/hypermotard/M696 style as well.  I wasn't gonna forget about you Rob

We will need to sort out the pricing, but want to keep it reasonable.  I'm hoping that we can costs to under $30, including shipping, production, etc, and sell them for a few bucks more, but nothing is finalized yet.

Desmo sells them with their club logo for $25 plus shipping but the design isn't nearly as cool as ours  http://www.desmoducati.org/shop.html

The DML sells theirs for $35 plus shipping and ours is also much cooler than theirs  http://www.ducatimonster.us/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=DCC&Category_Code=ACC&Product_Count=0

So here is the cover after an initial filling with enamel.  I still need to clean up the messiness around the edges, but you get the general idea.
