I went and saw I Am Legend last night.  What an awesome movie.  I was pissed when they killed off his dog though but I guess it went well with the plot.  There was a lot of neat survival type stuff like when he was hunting dear for food or scavenging from peoples cabinets.

What did you think of it?

I like it but the ending pissed me off, it went from fast paced action to OK it's over.
Kelly was crying when he had to put down his dog after she got infected protecting him.

Yeah.  I thought the ending worked well but it did sorta go from a bunch of zombies attacking to Boom and it's done.  I mean he died finding and protecting the cure and it looks like he saved mankind.

Some of the scenes were a lot of fun, like the driving around NYC in the new mustang.  I also thought it was funny how he got movies from the rental store and returned them after he watched them, and how he talked to the manikins.

The action of him capturing the zombie or going in the building after his dog was pretty cool.  I also liked how they made him show some human human, by making him have flashback type memories of the past or getting upset, like when he saw "Fred" the manikin out of place.

I thought it was interesting how at least one of the zombies was intelligent, with the trap they set for him and such.

I think I'm gonna buy it on DVD when it comes out and that says a lot!

Sounds good, I love that plot (last man on earth). May have to actually go see it at the theater.

It was great.  My recommendation is that it's not good for kids though.  There was a lot of scary zombies jumping out of the dark.... I thought my GF would have nightmares.

Speaking of which, I had thought about waking her up at night by acting like I was going to bite her

Anyone seen "Dawn Of The Dead", with Ving Rhames? It was really good. And parts were funny too.

Charlton Heston, move aside (reference to old 70's flick The Omega Man).
Will definitely have to grab the DVD as there was a lot of set property that need closer scrutiny.  The flyers hanging on the refrigerators...Beware dogs at night and the art in Will's fortress...looks like he decorated with the Guggenheim collection.  I think I would have chosen one of the XXX video shops on 42nd though.  The ending was a bit abrupt.

I just saw Beowulf today..  Hmmm I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I didn't even realize it was all computer generated till it started.

Yeah, I thought I mentioned that it was okay, but it was only so-so.  Angelina Jolie looked decent in it though
