Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Come on now. Get your mind out of the gutter. Im talking about the shaft on rear tire stands. Got mine in before the weekend and notice the shaft was a little tough to get in without any lube on it.

Do you guys lube your shaft for easier insertion?

Take a little emery cloth to it every once in awhile to clean it up.  If you were to use any type of grease or never seize you would leave a bit on the inside of the axle.

Thanks scout. I will give it a go... Maybe once the finish wears off it, seeing as its new, it will make it go in and out a bit easier.

You could give the peg on the stand a little squirt of WD-40 and wipe it off. Little bit of anti-corrosion and makes it easier insert/remove.
