Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..
Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!
I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

Before everyone goes out and buys VR46 everything, just remember last year at Le Mans.......

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

+1

Showrooms, who buy's bikes from showrooms anymore?  Their out there, tried 2 out before I decided on the Multi. You have to be honest with yourself on where your going to ride your steed, the Multi does all the rough pavement i can never plan on. If I going to plan on the real rough i'd choose somthing with a bit better engineering for the task.

Actually, Phil.... I'd like to see someone try this on a "German Engineered GS" (which is renowned for swingarm, and especially, final drive failures):

The editors remarked that the Multi was the only bike in the test (which included the KTM 950, BMW GS, Triumph Tiger, and Veestrom) that they felt comfortable jumping!  And it scored 2nd overall in the dirt behind the KTM, which blew a water pump seal, BTW.

I never said German engineering, just better engineered.

I'll jump the Multi when Ohlins gives me my exchange springs, until then the bottoming out is bound to couse some damage.

and let me know if you carry the rear wheel socket(s) and  1/2" drive touque wrench/breaker bar with you when your out in the middle of nowhere.  Roll Eyes

That is a pretty bad ass bike. De-tuned ducati 900 motor that can run on really shitty, low octane gas.

A guy in the club here has one, it is a cool bike and tough as nails.
