Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Mike, get you one of those Hoo Hoo stickers and stick it on over that dent.  Glad you finally broke down and found a Duc.  Still have your BMW don't ya?  Won't be like Mid-Ohio at Indy, you CAN park at the island.  I will be working the parking Friday afternoon at Indy, bring it in then and let me take it for a spin.

The best way to decribe the sound of the termis on a 696 is that it sounds alot like a radical snowmobile , If you are getting the full set up (ecu/airbox/ pipes) you will still have alittle popping and gurgling from the exhaust, i asked about this and Matt said it is because of how rich the new engines run and not to worry about it. the new pipes really do make a difference, well worth the $$$$.

Yeah I am getting the full kit.  I have hear that it will make some popping sounds.  but then again it makes that sound with the stock pipes.  I have also hear that some of the 696's came from the factory with the coil wires reversed.  Then when people put the termis on they had some problems.  So I will ask about that.  I guess it an easy fix, just put the wires on the right way.  Thanks for the info.

If needed, move to the pics forum.

Shot last night near Coal City, IN.  I noticed a very similar design to my hypermotard frame and the dragline.  BTW, I have climbed to the top of that dragline.  Crazy!!!!!!

You will notice that my motard is not ridden just on asphalt, and is in dire need of a bath.

For those into photgraphy, I was pretty impressed with the images considering I shot them with my iPhone.

Okay, just kidding.  Shot with Nikon D300, Tamron 11-18 and Nikkor 60 lenses.

If you have a HD monitor and want to see "better versions" of the images below, they are in this gallery:

Peace,
B.K.

I have a shoot lined up at the Terre Haute Action Track with the duck.  I did a test run with my TT on Sunday.  Here is a shot to give you an idea what the duck shot will be like:
