Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!
I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

On the street, snap is better than power IMO, and the M1100 fits that bill nicely.  IMO, the 4V's are overkill for the street, and just empty your wallet faster.....

Headed in after school today to try and make it happen!  M1100 EVO.  stoked for sure!

Something about the 2 valve Ducs that really stir the soul. As I own both a 2v and  4v,  if i had to make the decision to be without one or the other, my 900 would be the keeper.

Ok, here it is.

I switched out the mirrors, got a tail tidy, obviously the exhaust and put on the crankshaft cover.  I love it, the bike just roars with those pipes and it is a handful.

I will say I am bummed my crankshaft cover leaks.  I don't know why so I put the stock one back on.  I lost about half a tablespoon of fluid and it was on their tight.  Anyway, I am stoked about this thing, just loads of fun.

here is a link to the other pics.

Did you replace the included O-ring?  If you did try using the stock one. I never had anyone else complain about this problem. Try that if that does not work I'll replace your cover with another one.

I put on exactly what you sent me.  Was going to try the original o-ring, but there is that little nub on it I didn't want to cut off.  I can head to the hardware store and try to find a larger/thicker O-ring.  If that doesn't work I'll let you know.  I would prefer it on there as it looks great, plus how can I not fly the colors?

Ok cool let me know.
I know one member from England. (Geoff) replaced the O-ring with a thicker one from the hardware store, since I did not sent him the hardware and ring at that time.

Nice ride!  I do like the striped front fender better than the older solid ones!
