Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Ok here goes.
My name is Howard and i'm a ducaholic. Grin  I'm in Tenessee, 2 hrs south of nashville.
I have a 97 monster750 that i'm trying to get back on the road.
I got an invite to come on over here from grubby, thanks man. Really glad you liked the foot pegs.
I've seen some familiar(from the DML) names here so far, looks like a pretty nice place.

Thanks,
At this point I'll take any and all the help i can get. Unfortunately, like many others, i work 55 to 70 hrs a week and don't get to work on the bike much. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Chris at ca-cycleworks this afternoon and i may have it sorted out soon. (fingers crossed)

Ok   I am trying this.   Nathan  live around 54th and Meridian in Indy.  I had an '05 s2r800  just bought an '07 S4R"s". I have not yet made any mods.  Prob get a chip.  Pipes maybe arrows or termi's  but I like the stealth of the stock.  Once I get some more time I will know if I want the 14t sprocket.

Ok did that work Huh??

As far as donuts go,  I'll either have to bring some "longs" to Indy Ducati one weekend or you will have to meet me at the donut shop at 55th and keystone sometime.
let me try

Welcome Nathan nice bike good choice Wink when attaching photos from photobucket use the last link, at the very bootom of your pic.
I recommend buying the full termignoni system it comes with the race chip. so no power commander needed, and eliminates the 02 sensor. With a power commander you'll will also need a 02 emulator currently only available in Australia along with rapid bike module.
too much headache and it's a hit and miss. some people had luck using a powercommander for the 999 but the tuner has to be real good at it.
this is my beast with full termignoni system, open airbox with performance filter, race ECU, and full header pipes.

Howard welcome on board as well. I recognize you too from the DML
I even tried to get my paws on a set of your pegs but I was late. Anyway I will PM you later with a project Idea that I have some question about it. And a Machinist would be the guy to talk to.

Mojo aka John here.

I came here via Grifo's link on the DML.  Looked like a cool place to hang out so I decided to add my name to the list.  I've loved Ducs since I was a kid.  Was going to get an S2R Dark in 2005 but then came down on deployment orders so I put it on hold.  When I got back the '05s and '06s were all sold out and my wife wanted me to get a new bike (long story but no complaints here) so I waited for the '07 models.  When I found out that Ducati was shipping the '07 models I went straight to the dealer and ordered the S2R 800 in solid black.  The S2R didn't come in Dark anymore, but as you can see from my mods in the pix it probably didn't matter anyway.  Oh, I think I have Carbon Fiberosis and I'm really digging the website background.

I didn't post any pics in my original intro. So for those of you who haven't seen it on the DML, here's a couple of shots of my monster.

It's old, but it's paid for.

Throw some black flames on the tank and that's one of the bike I've been hunting down for the past year in Evansville.
