Black monster, leather jacket, and full face helmet... I could see how it would be mistakable. Now if I was mistaken for him walking down the road then there would be fighting words! haha

Greetings from the Big Island of Hawaii!!

Okay..so Grubby said I should introduce myself even though I don't own a bike and I'm not an official Hooligan (any problems, blame him, I do  ).

Anywho, I'm Kat.  I live on the island of Hawaii in the state of Hawaii.  I'm currently a high school English teacher (9th/11th grade) and part time Nail Technician (girly stuff).  I've been around bikes my whole life.  I know most of y'all are Ducati riders...but being that I don't have one of my own yet, thought I'd share what little connection I do have with bikes.

My dad has been affiliated with a couple of different bike clubs here on the Big Island.  He is currently the Vice President of Hawaiian Knights M/C. It's a family oriented club that he and my uncle created about eight years ago.  They participate in various non-profit events (Toys for Tots, charity poker runs, etc.) and offer security services for community events.  My dad got his first Harley, an '87 Evolution when I was ten, which he sold just this past year. He later went on to pick up a '58 Panhead and then built a custom something or other with a really fat rear tire.  Last year he picked up a Fat Boy and that's what he rides most of the time now.

...Anyway, enough about him Tongue

I'm here as an extension of the infamous Grubby.  He talks about y'all so much and shares stories from the forum with me all the time.  I hear such great things that I wanted to be a part of something that truly makes him happy.  He loves being a member of this awesome club and values your amazing friendship.  (Shhh, don't tell him I spilled that mushy stuff Grin

Hopefully someday I'll own a Ducati.  Until then, I will remain a loyal Ducati Groupie and will always be beside my Partner in Crime.  Ride fast, live free.

Seen it on Multistrada.net and ADVrider.com, been that route and now I am going back to the track/performance as I have a Motorhome now so no need to put it all on the bike anymore:)

Hey James... welcome on board.

82,000 miles?  Holy crap!  Guess I'm losing the mileage war then, huh?  I didn't reach 50k this summer like I'd planned, maybe I should've loaned the bike to Toaster for his Iron Butt sillyness...........

You've got thick skin, so you'll fit right in around here

Just bought an '09 M1100 from Indy Ducati.
Hoping it will be delivered today...
