2011 Models
Our 2011 models are arriving weekly. All colors and models will be available on a first come first serve basis. Some models will be very limited. We are taking deposits on all models including the Diavel which start shipping by reservation que. Please visit us for up to date brochures. 2010 Models

Motorcycle Safety Seminar
Did you know that 92% of motorcycle accidents involve riders who are self taught and 50% involve riders who are alcohol impaired. Mark your calendars to attend our safety seminar on March 31 and learn some skills and information that will help make you a safe rider. The course will be taught in an interactive style by Charlie Henard, master level MSF instructor.

2011 Race Program
Joel Spalding will be racing the new Ducati Indianapolis prepared 848EVO at Roebling road on march 12 and 13 in the expert middleweight supersport class.

Also Andrew Sidwell raced his 848 in the amateur class at VIR on March 5th. Ducati will be doing a documentary on Andrew during the 2011 season.

New Bikes

The monster 1100 EVO is due to be released late this month. We will be having a premier May 20th and 21st. Horsepower has been kicked up to 100 HP and a number of features have been added including traction control, ABS, new exhaust system, 10 spoke rims, reduced weight, wet clutch and Corse stripes. 

All of this combines to make an ultimate monster with an MSRP of $11,995. Check out all of the new design and performance features on our web site in the 2011 bike models section.

2011 Models

Sales have been brisk this spring on all models. We are selling out of several colors, but we still have time to search within the Ducati network to get what you need. Let us know as soon as possible the model and color you want. 

Track Days

Reserve your slot now for one or more of our 2011 season Putnam Park track days. Our track days that we hold in conjunction with Commonwealth Motorcycles of Louisville, KY, have established a reputation with riders for safety and organization. 
Our novice riding school is uncrowded and a great venue for learning the capabilities of your motorcycle and improve your riding skills. Call us now to sign up. See our web site for track day requirements. We also have several track bikes in stock which have been built for the track and are reasonably priced. If you are really going to get into the track day sport it is really great to have a dedicated track bike.

All Roads Lead to Pikes Peak

We are organizing a ride to Pikes Peak the week of June 20th for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Race. Mark your calendars now. All bikes are welcome, although there will be some special events in Colorado Springs for Ducati riders. More details will follow. 
We are planning to have some cool stop offs on the way and maybe an Iron Butt ride on the return for those who would like to qualify as an Iron Butt rider. Please call us if you are interested.

Helmet Winner

Peggy Hamilton was the winner of the Arai Helmet at our Diavel night at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Congratulations to Peggy and thanks to the over 200 people who attended the event. 


Service
We have been very busy this spring in our service department. Our schedule is now around 1 1/2 weeks out for service. There is still time to get your bike in before the peak riding season. Don't get stuck with your bike in the shop when your friends are out riding.
New Products!
ALTRIDER
We are now stocking the Altrider accessories for the Multistrada 1200 which include: engine guards, radiator and oil cooler guards, frame sliders, water pump guards, and front header guard.
DAINESE
We continue to get new high quality products from Dainese. We can also order anything in the Dainese catalog and delivery is usually within a few days.
Pick-up and Delivery Fees
We are glad to continue our service of picking up and delivering motorcycles, but due to fuel and other cost increases we will now be charging a $50 basic fee within the 25 mile radius of our dealership and an additional $.50/mile charge for bikes outside the 25 mile circle. If you have a breakdown and your bike is within the 2 year warranty/ roadside assistance please call the Ducati roadside assistance number on your red identification card and they will call Ducati Indianapolis for the covered benefit tow. Thanksgiving Holiday Hours
Ducati Indianapolis will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday week-end including Friday and Saturday and will reopen on November 29th at the regular time.

On Wednesday November 23rd we will be open our regular hours and we will be contributing 10% of the days profit to the local food bank. We will also be changing to our 6:00 PM winter closing time on week days starting November 29th.

Racing Update
CHAD LINTNER
Chad was first in Heavyweight Twins Superbike and Supersport and a first in C Supersport at the GNF at Barber Motorsports Park in October. Chad also won championships in the North Central Region for novice Heavyweight Twins Superstock and Superbike.
ANDREW SIDEWELL
Andrew won championships in Southeast WERA for Novice Heavyweight Twins Superstock and Superbike.

New 2012 Models
Over the past two months we have been receiving the first of our stocking order of 2012 Ducati models. Despite ordering more bikes for 2012 some models and colors will be limited. Let us know as soon as possible your choice of model and color so that we can match it to our order schedule and search the national inventory if needed. A deposit will help assure that we will have your bike on schedule. All deposits are fully refundable or transferable. Stop by soon to pick up a 2012 model brochure.

 
2012 Model Highlights
1199 Panigale
The most technologically advanced and powerful Superbike in history; 195 HP and 362.9 Lbs dry, Over 20 lbs lighter curb weight than the 1198SP. First deliveries tentatively scheduled for early/mid April. Production has begun in Italy.
848 Streetfighter
Street Friendly 132 HP, traction control, new frame, wet clutch, new yellow color, new 11° engine with 15,000 mile service interval.
848 EVO Corse Special Edition
Limited production, Corse paint scheme, rear Ohlins’ shock, traction control, quick shifter.
1098 Streetfighter
Same awesome bike, but comes in the new titanium color with a red frame.
Multistrada
New titanium color in the Sport Touring model.

 All Roads Lead to Pikes Peak
Joins us for the ride to Pikes Peak for another Ducati event in support of the attempt at four wins in a row for Ducati and three in a row for the Ducati Multistrada. This year the entire route up the mountain will be paved so the times will be even faster. Last year’s winner and record holder will be racing on the factory team with Greg Tracey. We will be leaving early the first week in July to be in Colorado Springs for all the special events Ducati has planned for race week. It will be an interesting ride out with some exciting stops on the way. All bikes are welcome to ride with us. If you plan on attending the event make your reservations for the Ducati race week package on the link at Ducatiusa.com. Power up with PowerLet
Get out on your bike early in the riding season by powering up with PowerLet outlets and accessories. Universal outlets are available for all models and placement.

Service Update
We are currently at 2 to 2 ½ weeks for scheduled service. Call or stop in to schedule your bike for service. With proper planning we can have everything needed for your bike in house on time to assure a minimum of downtime.
Michael Gwatney has joined our team as a service technician. Michael has over 20 years of service technician experience with all makes including several years as a Ducati tech. He has several motorcycles, enjoys track days and is also an avid mountain biker.
