Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Somethings are better on one wheel!

I would have never thought this was possible, but today I hit a Turkey Vulture and it was hilarious! I was on the bike coming up over a blind hill and there were some birds picking at some left over whatever on the road. As I approached them going the speed limit of course there was one with his back to me. I hit the horn several times and all of the sudden he jumped up and his tail feathers went right into my helmet. I am chalking this one up as an avoidable accident. I hope someone saw it because I am sure they got a kick out of it, I sure did.  Just goes to show that you never know when you are going to need your gear!  I could not have imagined hitting that bird with NO helmet on.  Stay safe and watch out for birds Grin

I'm with you on this one. I also hit a bird once. But he was small smacked right onto my chin almost knocking me off the bike.
I was wearing a 3/4 helmet, never again... 
I'm glad you had fun with it, start riding with a camera on, all the time Cheesy
