Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Damn, half of that 72k price tag was for the super rad paint job. That'll cost him.

Damn!  I knew red was the fastest but I didn't know it was so much more expensive. I guess that's the price you pay for the added speed.

Right before I picked up my Strada last year. A guy picked up a new 1098 and dropped it trying to get out of the parking lot!

Man, talk about embarrassing, not to mention infuriating.

Man...just imagine how fast that baby would be if it was yellow! I guess he's REAL lucky it was red - if it was yellow, he would have either killed himself or shit his pants...either one not good.

They don't make the desmosedici in yellow.  It's a race bike and they want all the performance they can get out of it - they wouldn't want to slow it down with yellow paint

Jim told me that one Desmosedici was dropped by it's owner's brother just down the road from ProItalia the day of delivery. Could it be the same?
