Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Somethings are better on one wheel!

« on: December 20, 2011, 06:20:35 PM »

A friend has an early 60's triumph chooper.  The engine I believe is a 500cc? parrallel twin.  The twin I am sure of.  He is looking for someone to rebuild this engine the motor was turning before he started to break it down.  Also It needs to be switched over to an electronic ignition.  Any lurkers out there with any info would be appreciated!

I know Al (Rudge) has a good amount of experience with older Triumph engines, as he has a totally refurbished and chopped a 1955 (I think) Triumph Scout 650, and is in the process of building a Triton with a supercharger. He hasn't posted in a while but I know he gets on and lurks a bit.
