Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

Before everyone goes out and buys VR46 everything, just remember last year at Le Mans.......

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Anyone heading down? We are (Joe and I) we have nothing planed other than the fact we are going to load up the trailer and hit the road. It would be nice to hang out for a few days and get some wild fun in with our Indiana brethren. We are Planning a Sunday to Sunday trip and night need a place to crash! We might also park the rig in Jacksonville at my sisters and toss on the backpacks and be vagabonds...

Any Ideas?

We've had some discussion about going.  I know that there are several Hooligans that are planning to trailer their bikes down.  I  personally have school that week, but I'm likely to skip class so I can attend.  In the past a few of us have stayed with a friend down there but I'm betting that we will have too many for that this year.  I'm curious if there is somewhere we can camp as a group?  That would make for a decent party I bet Smiley

Yeh, are you taking tents? I know for you Marines and other vets a tent is like the Hilton, but this boy likes hot running water and a handy head! But if a lot of you are going we have the stuff... As I always say, all I need is my Ducati,  clean underwear, soap, tp,  a tooth brush, cigars, a hot chick and a bottle of Captain and I am good to go!

LOL.... well, the camping was just an idea I had recently.  I know that it seems like a few Hooligans have a friend or family member in the area so there has been talk of a few staying here and a few others there - I think it would be awesome to have everyone staying in the same place and a campground seems like the logical choice.

I'm sure that a few of the CDC members are willing to allow some of the squatters to sleep at their homes. You just have to coordinate it.

That would be cool. My life long friends cousin is the manager of the Daytona Hooters, so we might be able to squat with her and the Owls  , but if it fall through we are willing to meet some of the local Ducati club members and accept some hospitality (we will pay of course)

fucknaye, we have room, just talked to Bryan. We have a 5 person camper i can set up in the front of the house, just like the Griswold's. I've had 11 bikes and 12 people stay inside the house. We'll make room, just common.

Yep, I just got off the phone with Nick and he's got space for the club.  Plan on bringing a sleeping bag and possibly a tent just to be sure we have plenty of space, but we've got room for all of us to stay together - that should make for an awesome party!

Well Nick, if you are willing to have us count me and Booch in! Is there room for a truck and a 16' v-nose, or should we backpack it from Jacksonville? I guess we should coordinate with Bryan? Dam this will be a friggin blast!

The "Schleprock Penthouse" is the computer room. They had a small mattress on the floor and the couch. I mostly slept on the mattress except for one nick when Eric passed out on my bed. He got a "classy" sharpie tat on his arm for it.

That is the room I slept in last year, I also fell asleep on the computer desk one night.
Oh boy what have I started with the sharpie
