Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!
I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

Before everyone goes out and buys VR46 everything, just remember last year at Le Mans.......

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Hey Mario, try www.bootsnall.com  I've used these guys for about 10 years for all jumps out of the U.S. and they have always given me the best deal.  The cheap stuff is actually through their link to www.airtreks.com  I met my wife on this site, so perhaps you might find some folks on there that will steer you away from using your hand.

I was looking at the schedule and looks like we'll be catching the Moto GP @ Misano too. AWESOME   I requested a Hypermotard as a loaner for the president meeting, after that Alex is letting me borrow his S4Rs he will be riding the 749s. Can't wait I'm pretty stocked I just got my flight confirmed I think I got a decent deal 1200 round trip leaving on the 3rd and returning on the 23rd I could have stayed another week but I decided against it so I will have some time left for the Italian fest, Indy Moto GP and maybe a track day or two.
I need to borrow a decent camera Bryan? Prem? lol

Some of things on the menu for the president meeting. Factory/museum tour. loaner bike. Futa pass ride, Moto GP, then a trip to the Alps. Ride from said Alps to the Adriatic sea.  5 nights 4 days hotel stay lunch and dinner included.
After the World President Meeting is over I'll be staying either with Riccardo or Alex for the World Ducati Week.  Alex has an extra bike I can use, Riccardo said I can have his cage and drive his girlfriend around. He will let me have his woman before his S4 Carbon LOL I think Alex won

I just realized we are low on sticker and patches. And I'm getting emails from European Ducatisti to take some with me.
Bryan do we have any funds to order some?

Since 1967, NCR has built very exclusive performance motorcycles. At NCR, we strive to offer the highest technology with unmatched quality for all our customers. Every motorcycle is hand built with the greatest attention to detail.

Nowhere will you find such a passionate pursuit to use the very best material and technology available today to build the very best performance parts and motorcycles.

NCR continues this trend with its latest introduction of a truly exclusive and technologically advanced Ippoliti Designed  NCR Millona 16 or simply the NCR M16:

Starting with a Ducati DD16RR, the NCR M16 utilizes the latest carbon fiber and titanium to create a clean and flowing design with functionality as its main criteria. We can see the family evolution of the NCR Millona One Shot air cooled motorcycle in the lines of the new NCR M16. The NCR tradition of unmatched power to weight ration continues to be the main driving force in the design and development.

Upon closer inspection, you will note that this is no ordinary motorcycle. It was conceived from the start to be the most exclusive motorcycle in the world by using the strongest and lightest material in the world. By carefully developing every single component to be as light and strong as possible while achieving the very best performance. WIthout gas, the NCR M16 achieves an incredible weight of 145 kg (319 lbs). Since there are no rules to follow, the weight is actually lighter than the imposed minimum weight of a MotoGP motorcycle!

To achieve this weight, NCR designed and developed its own carbon fiber frame while improving the air intake system by allowing an unobstructed flow of air through the steering head. Again with the goal of achieving the lightest weight and the strongest performance, NCR developed a new swingarm in carbon fiber as well. The fuel tank, faring, subframe/tail, fender, front faring stay are all carbon as well.
Even the NCR wheels are been projected and manufactured in carbon fiber.

All mechanical parts are either titanium or avionic grade aluminum with material grades derived from Formula 1. This is of course in the NCR tradition.

The motor develops over 200 horsepower at the rear wheel. WIth the latest generation MotoGP suspension in front and rear, the racing heritage continues. Also the brakes are from the highest racing application.

The NCR M16 uses its own electronics derived from racing with full traction control, data collection and recording, 3 user selectable maps, as well as constant fuel remapping based on environment and gas conditions.

NCR M16: 145 Kg (319 lbs) and 200+ Rear Wheel Horsepower

We invite you to World Ducati Week 2010 to see this work of art! The official press launch of the NCR M16 will be at 10AM on Thursday June 10th at the NCR booth in the Misano Paddock. See you soon!

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more info. We also invite you to check online, www.ncrfactory.com, the introduction of this incredible bike!

OMGoodness would I love to go!!!  Have fun, buddy.  Find out the dates for next year, please, so I can save up.  I have been wanting to take a Europe trip for years, so figure I ought to just save up and do it all at once.  Or..... if you know of any lonely rich gentlemen who need someone on their arm for the trip, I could handle that too.    I'll just call in sick to work this year

Mario just e-mailed me and wants everyone to know that he has been having a fantastic time, but has had limited service to the computer at the hotel he is staying in. He will be posting up more of his Italian "adventures" as soon as he can.
