Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

It's cooling off, and a end of the season meet sounds like a good plan.  If there's enough interest I'd be willing to organize a meet some evening (weekend or weeknight) at a place in or around Bloomington.  Think of it a end of the season ride for some decent food.  Somone mentioned the Upland Brew/Pub in another thread and a tenderloin does sound good so that'd probably be the destination.

Post up if you're interested and we'll plan from there 

I may throw something out on the Ducati.ms board to see if I can get some interest from there as well.

what about Oni's place in Sullivan ? Joe's Itailian Food and Pizza. It's kind of our unofficial meeting point for the southern reaches and it's sort of a central location.

I'd be down for meeting up sometime soon.  I agree that Sullivan is a relatively central location for most of our active members, but if we want to try something different for a change I don't mind a little extra riding Smiley
