Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

Before everyone goes out and buys VR46 everything, just remember last year at Le Mans.......

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

This is my weapon of choice 1966,67,68 Montgomery Ward Riverside (Benelli) 250. 35mm Ceriani fork from a Penton 100/125. Now running a 350cc engine 4 speed trans. This may be the last winter of using Nelli Balls in anger as I'm thinking of putting the old nail back on the street as a cafe racer & setting up my '91 husky for side hack racing.

Nope, bikes are widely used... I've tried a rm250 that was setup for ice racing with the wacko bars... these things will drag pegs!

Nope not a trike. It's a sidecar outfit but ridden solo. Last Winter there only six of us riding the sidehack class hope fully more this year. The class used to be alot more popular, when the ice racing in Laporte stopped In '96 or so their were three classes o - 125cc, 126 - 250, 251 -500 & 500 - open classes. The 250 class would usually be the biggest with up to twelve or thirteen riders some times. The open class would have almost anything in it including a guy who rode a 1500 Kawasaki Vulcan !?!?!? There was also another rider who raced a really sharp Harley UL flat head 80 c.i. (that's 1,340 cc to the younger Hooligans among us) complete with foot clutch and tank shift and yep he did beat up on the newer motorcycles he ran against pretty often. The big highlight for all of the sidecar racers was at the last race of the year all the sidecars smallest to the biggest would ride a "GRAND FINALE" 20 lap free for all, FREAKIN BIG FUN !!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow is it! First ice race of the season. The doc who put me back together after crashing my Guzzi in August would quite possibly kick my ass if he knew I was going to try, but I promised the lovely and long suffering Missus Max if the shoulder or arm bother me in the least I won't race,(I don't want to stay gimpy forever) besides I start therapy on Tuesday. I'm going to try practice and if everything feels good we'll see, besides the guys I'm going with are all club mates and buds from the Plymouth Blackhawk club and I've ridden with them for ever so I trust 'em enough to ride blind folded with them let alone get out on a track. Alright! Finally did my first ice race yesterday, had a hell of a good time. I definitely noticed a lack of strength in my right hand ,shoulder, & arm.  Must work harder!!!! Actually I achieved my goal of racing this winter and I'm totally pleased! It was fun to mix it up and race with my club mates and riding buds in the Plymouth Blackhawk  MC.
