Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I guess we need to start a thread for the AMA @ Mid-Ohio roll call.  I'd like to hit the VD, but that's a long haul to do 2 or three weekends in a row (LeMans is the weekend before VD), and we have tix for the Indy 300 at KY Sppedway the weekend after AMA as well.

I talked to Chris Cavurro last week and he was saying that the camping situation is going to be the same as last year.  Is anyone bringing a big tent with room for one more?

I'm out. Was planning on it, but need to work late Friday, and must be back in town first thing Sunday. Daughter flying in first thing Sunday AM. Just not enough time to enjoy myself if I blasted over there. Sorry Al. I'll just have to drink too much tonight at Mosiers to ease my pain!

I dig the observed trials. That looks TONS more fun than riding on a track. You don't need 50 acres and asphalt, just a bike and junk car to hop over.
