Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

track sessions start at 9am. Riders meeting sometime around 8:30 or 8:45 most likely. I usually show up around 7:30-8 to get setup and eat some bananas.

There are several hotels around the track that offer rates for track riders as well...

Our first day is this Monday for anyone who has nothing to do! Weather looks to be 70 and sunny at the moment.

Missus sTD will also be there, on her 900SS:

Got it back together yesterday and test rode it today.  New hi-comp pistons installed, and making that sweet noise.  Gotta get the jetting sorted, but for now, it's close enough.  She's gonna kick Mother's a$$ at the track  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Nice bike!  But for God's Sake, Get an alloy swingarm under it!  I can't tell: do you have the SP type master cylinders and fluid reservoirs on it?  Bring it up to South Bend so I can stroke it too. Smiley

You mean one of those SP alloy swingarms that are crack-prone?  No thanks... been there, done that.  The bike has a complete 916/Cycle Cat front end on it, with its masters so it's pretty well-setup.  Plus, there's an Ohlins shock out back, sprung & valved to match. Kiss Kiss Kiss

No stroking anything of my wife's....... it's my job to service the Queen Bee  Shocked

As far as I've been able to tell, those broken ally swingarms were owned by people who didn't possess a torque wrench.  But, it's your, er, her, bike.  Smiley

Troy, I never woulda guessed you are German.  Roll Eyes

Actually I am half  German, half Irish, or am I half Irish, half German? Either way I never had a chance.

What ever that means...
