Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Got a call from Mike & Mario at the last minute on Sunday, to join them, Chad & Kevin for a jaunt up to St. Joe to some crapass bar Kev knows about.  So the Missus & I suit up, and just as we're about to leave, my Father-in-law shows up on his (new to him) Harley.  Some ooohs & ahhhs, and the usual jokes, then we jumped on the Strada and jetted:

was fun. yeah, the boat house isnt what it used to be. some oktoberfest would have been good too. But, it was an excellent ride and the icecream after the beach shenanigans was fantastic

We went over to the mountains of eastern Kentucky, hit some kick ass roads and then after several hundred miles, spent the rest of the day chasing the ambulance and hanging out in the emergency room at Morehead hospital.  The girl in the group had a run it with a guard rail.  Bruised her up pretty much, but nothing broken other than ego and bike.  She's been out already though, scrambling to find parts to get it back on the road.  Still, it was a great ride!

Looks like it was a fun ride up to the beach.  I headed up to northern Michigan (Baldwin area) and rode the DNR trails up there.  We had 5 KTMs and 3 Kaws and got to ride Little Manistee, Tin Cup and Lincoln Hills.  I wish our crappy state had a trail system like they do up there, it was a blast.  Perfect weather up there and ended up with close to 100 miles of nice, tight trails.  Looks like things are getting cooler from now on though Cry

So the forcast for Sunday is looking good (maybe the last time this year) and after talking to Dr Wooding last nite there appears to be alot of intrest in a Sunday ride leaving from Mosers. So here are the details ........Meet up Sunday 11-02-08 at Mosers in New Carlisle,...... TIME ....between 11 and 12 South Bend time DONT FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK SATURDAY NITE. I am gonna try to bring some pancake mix. We are not sure if we will be heading north or south so if any one wants to lead or has any sugestions feel free.
