Not to threadjack myself (that's what the Rev is for) but I think all my dad has is a flats boat now.  I'm pretty sure he sold the Lear with the twin 275s on it, which was a kicka$$ ride.  But, he's a boat whore, so who knows what he's dragged home lately. Roll Eyes

Damn. I was hoping to go for a scoot on his go-fast boat... Flats boats are cool too. Especially if they're sportin' tripple digit motors... I know my brother's will scare the pee outa ya... running full throttle up the St. John's river...

Hey Troy, let's coordinate around these events... I'm up for riding to Cape Coral too... haven't seen your dad in years and would like to see his setup... I need another boat buddy down here too  Grin

Well, I've got a Dodge truck and a trailer that can haul 4 bikes and 3 peeps in relative comfort.  I count for one peep and two bikes, cdd counts for one of each, and the final peep/bike spot goes to the highest bidder that we can stand  Wink Grin Cool Tongue

Bike transport quote:
Customer ID

Price

Deposit
A712272388

$595.00

$145.00

I've asked if there are any group discounts.

Another option would be to rent a U-Haul or Ryder truck than split the cost (rental and fuel) between the users.

My parents live in Deltona (1/2 hour due west of Daytona) and could put up probably four of us.

Please chime in if you want to get something going...I'd like to go, but I don't want to put out $1500 to get my bike there and back.

We've got a buddy, motogpfan on the site, that lives in Deltona too.  It sounds like the biggest problem will be transporting bikes, if we get everyone going that is interested

I'm about 15 minutes West of Deltona (45 minutes from Daytona) I can put up 3 or 4...

Keep in mind that I've got two kids though so it'll need to be a family friendly atmosphere...

I looked into transportation too via Shadowchaser with a discount was about $600.00 each way... no thanks
Let's see what happens here maybe a u-haul or Ryder it's the answer.
I could borrow a trailer that fits 4 bikes from my friend Matt if someone has the vehicle to tow it.
