Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

The Ducati – Ferrari brunch
Sunday Sep. 20th, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Matteo’s restaurant, The Square in Noblesville
.

We will be joining the Ferrari of Central Indiana club and the iDesmo club for a brunch event. The square will be closed off for us only, and parking will be on the street in front of the restaurant.

The cost for brunch will be $20, and the menu is an assortment of Italian items including lasagna, meatballs, eggplant, fruit, shrimp cocktail, Italian imported meats and cheeses, and many other items. It includes a sparkling wine tasting.

(and yes I know it is on the same day as the Indy Ducati track day at Putnam. Some will eat and some will ride, it is a choice we make  )

Facebook event here.

And here is the list...

1.   Gilad & Spouse (and maybe kids)
2.
3.
4.
5.

I'll be there. Anybody have a biposto seat for a 748/996 I can borrow?

I've got my Monoposto->biposto swap done, just won't have the tail in time.

Jeanne and I were looking at the calender and it looks like aside from a major radio charity event I am involved in(ends sat nite) we are free so....Stella Rosa will be there. We will leave LaPorte early Sunday details to follow, but looks like fun! (also our annivesary weekend)

I may make it up there.  I would also like to see the Ducati Art bike in person.

Gilad,
Weather doesn't look promising for Sunday, but if it holds off and looks clear, then I will come up.

We are trailering the bikes down tomorrow rain or shine.  Does anyone going have a driveway we can park our vehicle and trailer and then ride to the brunch together?

The weather looks too wet to make the trip with Stella.  We are really going to try to make the September fest at Indy Ducati next Saturday, and may stay overnight.  Hopefully we can hook up with you guys then.  Thanks for the invite, sorry we couldn't make it.

Went to the Ducati - Ferrari brunch today. turnd out the be great weather as you can see by the photo. Gilad and I were the only ones there to represent. Not a big turnout from our four wheeled counterparts either. Only had six cars show up. There was an always a show stopper F40. Of course there was Joe's F430, A super cool and rare yellow Dino, a 348 spider, a 599 GTB, and a 360
F40

My Nephew, Mason, was real happy to see this one. He has a little matchbox car of this and he spotted it right away saying "that's my Car". What a good eye I am sure my brother in law wished it were only true

Love the clear Lexan engine compartment

This was Masons favorite car. He called it the funny yellow car.

Gilad's 750 SS, A 360, Joe's F430

Front of the 599 GTB, 348 spider, and my ST2
