Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Hi Gang,

I do apologize for the delay, and my known laziness, for posting up the pics very late. We had an absolute blast, and both Ana and I truly are grateful for your kindness and hospitality. Right then, enough of the gay talk, onto the pics.. I've got a load more to process but these were the best ones that I have. It was the first time I'd used that lens and with the frikkin gales blowing us around it was not easy focusing (that's my excuse anyway

This month’s issue of Motorcyclist magazine has a nice write-up on Project Mugello. (See Cat Tales, page 9.)  It’s called Brick by Brick and tells of the Indy weekend with special mention of the DOC project and includes a large photo of the Ducati card stunt.  It's a pretty nice write-up. Brian Catterson chose to sit in the Mugello grandstands (that's the name the speedway printed right on the tickets as many of you know) even in the rain, instead of the VIP places he had access to as editor of Motorcyclist. Sometimes a "Motorcyclist" is just a motorcyclist. That's a good thing.
