Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

In honor of Mario, I decided that I would push it past my comfort level and high side my bike...

Luckily, I walked away with a bruised and sore shoulder and the bike ended up with merely one of the clip ons being rotated. Shortened my day by a bit...

It was on saturday. Its too long of a story ( and Im being lazy ) but I was riding along (without a guide or anyone to follow) and didnt know the line or entry speed into turn 7 ( Bears paw ) and was building speed through the first turn and not remembering there was a hard right 30 yards past it, couldnt get slowed down enough to make the second part of the turn and went off roading. Luckily the grass was wet and soft as it didnt really hurt the bike and I just bounced and slid.

Were you out there on saturday?

the damm Bear Paw!!!
i remember on my first track day i came up on Nate (from indy ducati),and i think it had been his first TD too. Him in front of me, getting closer to the paw and he was to hot and locked it up almost ending in the grass, and stupid me did what you're not supposed to do (Target fixated on him ) and almost rear ended him, lucky i didn't hit him, but that corner has it in it,very decieving.
