Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

Project Mugello Putnam Park Track day Monday is on!


Big News - Project Mugello at Indygp update - the Putnam Park track day has come together for the Monday immediately following the Indygp weekend. The plan is still forming about
what all that will be going on at the track but Ducati Indy, the events sponsoring dealer, DNA, the involved Ducati Owners Clubs and MotoEuro Magazine all plan to make the best show possible for this Ducati only track event. We are really trying to raise the level of this day to the rest of the Project Mugello standards as a must not be missed event. So, in order to include the most Ducatisti, in addition to the usual Sport Bike Track Time professionalism and three experience level classes there will be touring class laps for people that don't, for whatever reason, do track days but would still like to get a personal look at this private gem racetrack. This is expected to be a $10 donation to charity for rides behind a control rider. Cost for the full track day will be $170 and is expected to be posted on the Sport Bike Track Time website any day. In order to make the best possible experience for those involved, we have not maxed out the potential capacity.  As a result this track day will sell out fast. So basically, you snooze, you lose. :-)
We are really trying to make this much more than a normal track day, stay tuned for updates. Special Thanks to Bill Carr at Ducati Indy, without whom this would not be happening!
