Black monster, leather jacket, and full face helmet... I could see how it would be mistakable. Now if I was mistaken for him walking down the road then there would be fighting words! haha

Mario and I were lucky enough to be able to sneak into the dealer expo in Indy.  We took a few pictures there and I've got them attached to this thread.

Mario took pictures of this bike.  I think it was because it was one ugly 1098

Regina had a Desmosedici in their booth and had taken half of the bodywork off so we could see what's under it's skin

Another one of Mario's ugly bike photos

I like some of the things about the Rowland Sands Hypermotard, like the paint and the exhaust.  The copper colored sections were sort of a satin color and had the desmo valvetrain worked into the paint.  I don't really like the wheels, forks, or controls.  I guess it works together as a visual package though....

Bridgestone also had a Desmosedici in their booth

Mario really had a thing for taking pictures of UGLY bikes.  I think he took this pic for Toaster Tank.  This bike really needs a tail chop!

Here's some stuff Mario thought Jud might like

Those Desmo16s are getting as common as Honda 50s.

Yeah right.

Herman was selling Dellorto carburetors and Mario told me that Dellorto made the carbs that Ducati uses.  I told him that I never knew that and asked if they made carbs for the more modern Ducs, like the 750 Monsters.  We went over and started talking to Herman about his products.  He pulled a bottle of homemade wine out from under the counter and poured us all a drink.  I don't know if Dellorto makes good carbs since I've only ever owned FI bikes, but I can certainly say that Herman makes good wine

After the show there was a party that we attended.  There were Coors Light girls there, food, and a couple of bands.  One in particular had a bunch of pretty women and we were sure to take the best pictures we could.

That was good wine, and walking around the show talking to vendors while buzzed was priceless

It's too bad we missed you guys. We had a great time. The the Italians sneak you into the secret lunch next to the Fren Tubo booth? I had quite a bit of the vino! aside from the cool 1098 and RR's, I popped a nut over the Quat with skis and rear track, any my partner wants one of the Canadian "Snow Dirtbike" set ups

Not for anything but I was not a big fan of the Jessy R. 1098, he is a tool...

We just had espresso by the Fren Tubo booth.  I didn't like the mods on that 1098. The exhaust is hideous.

Cool stuff. The DD16RR at the Regina booth is owned by Bob Robbins - he owns S-Works racing who is the other sponsor of our Triumph AMA FX team. He plans to track that bike this year. The Bridgestone bike is actually owned by the car division of Bridgestone and they are just taking it on the show circuit (lame). If I had one it would be at the track too - oh and I'd cruise Wal-Mart with it on the weekends. lol.

Or take it to the bike hangouts where all the posers with the zx10's with the realy polished wheels and the zx636's that are made into stuntbikes. Barely give it enough throttle to keep it from dying so no to scare them, half of those guys don't even know how to pronounce ducati. Talk a little smack and see if you can get on of them to do the on-ramp drags so you can really hear the motor wind up over the course of a mile.
