I just found out about this, and thought I'd pass it along. Though I wont be tracking, i was thinking of riding up to see the extent of the track renovations. Any takers?

OPEN PRACTICE EVENT
OPENING WEEKEND
APRIL 3-4, 2010
$150.00 PER DRIVER for single day
Pre-Register for both days and price is only $250.00... See More
Group 1 Advanced Closed Wheel
Group 2 Novice Closed Wheel
Group 3 Open Wheel
Group 4 Motorcycles
(Groups may change order accordingly)
Saturday April 3, 2010
9:00 am – 12:00pm Alternate 4 groups 15 min sessions each
12:00-1:00pm LUNCH
1:00-5:00pm Alternate 4 groups 15 min sessions each
Sunday April 4, 2010
8:00 am – 10:00pm Alternate 4 groups 15 min sessions each
10:00-12:00pm LUNCH
12:00-5:00pm Alternate 4 groups 15 min sessions each
(APRIL 17-18, 2010 LEMONS PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE DISCOUNT OF COST PER CAR NOT PER DRIVER)

Send an email with all necessary info: Name, address, phone, which day you are participating in, vehicle make model and year along with emergency contact information.

All Open Track Rules and Regulations apply. See website for full list, details and passing info!
· Previous track experience is a must!
· Pre-registration is required.
· Pay upon arrival to Gingerman at registration.
· Drivers must attend drivers meeting 15 mins prior to start of Motorsport event.
· Every person entering facility must sign K&K Insurance waiver upon entrance.
· Helmets must be SNELL or DOT 2000 or newer. Helmet will be inspected at time of registration.
· No passengers are allowed.
· Convertibles must have roll protection.
· All vehicles must have functional safety harnesses or safety belts worn at all times while on road course.
· Hands must remain inside car at all times while driving on course.
· If you suspect anything wrong with your vehicle, get off the course immediately!

Okay here's the deal. Meeting up @ Veldman's Marathon on west side of South Bend @ 0930hrs. eastern time. Leaving at 1000hrs promptly. Leave a post as to weather or not you will be riding with us.

This Sunday April 11, 2010 is an open track day for BIKES ONLY12:00-5:00pm$125.00 for 5 uninterrupted hours of track time at Gingerman! This event is by pre-registration and pre-payment only. There will be no instructors during this event.Drivers meeting will be at 11:45am. Please allow yourself time to sign waiver, se...t up, receive band and attend drivers meeting.There will be no cars or karts participating in this open track event, motorcycles only!!Groups may be divided into novice and advanced. Anyone want some free bodywork?  I'm sure it can be super-glued back together.  HH stickers are intact, but not much else

Remember  it take yellow and red to make orange. So to think orange is better means you have to use two more steps to be better.
