Somethings are better on one wheel!

« on: September 20, 2011, 06:45:50 PM »

Due to a heavy and busy weekend workload the month of October has left my weekdays pretty empty.  I was wanting to do a Brookville or Bloomington route day trip.  I am located in Lafayette.  If you just wanted to stay local let me know that is a possibility also.

Hi Scout, I would totally be up for something during the week. Do you think we can get few more riders together for a week day ride?

Including you I am at 4.  We were looking at a Brown county/Bloomington route.  But if you go I would assume Brookville would be easier?  Looking at October 6 or 7 the 7th is looking better being Friday, or which one has better weather.  Still would like to get a couple more guys though!!

I might be able to do Friday the 7th.  I live in Carmel so would just meet up with you on your way down 65 since you live in Lafayette.

Sounds like Friday it will be (weather pending of course).  Let roughly plan on meeting roughly south of INDY somewhere.  Unless you guys know some good roads to get from say Indy Ducati to Brown county area?  Now we are at 5!

I Still plan on doing this ride.  The weather as of today looks great.  I hope more people can make it!  It's going to be my first time thru Brown County and I am a little excited

I'm still planning on going also. I just dropped off my bike for the 600 mile service, plus a few additional items are being installed.  Let me know where you guys are wanting to meet.

Maybe somewhere on the far south side Franklin I was thinking?  It appears there is a highway 44 that runs to the west into the Brown County area.  Not sure of time but the earliest I could be in Franklin is 10:00.

If any of you North-Siders wanna ride down together to Franklin we can meet at Indy Ducati at about 8:30-9:00, and take Meridan through Indianapolis then down to 31 into Franklin.  We can even stop in downtown Indy to pickup anyone in that area.

Any chance of meeting at Indy Ducati little later? For the Northerners (like me), 9am seems a little too early. I would have to head out of my house before 8am and since it is getting a little cold in the early mornings it would be so much nicer to head out a little later... please please!

What route are you guys planning on running. I might be able to meet up in Brown County (but from the south) to ride for a bit.

There isn't any special planned route.  Name a place and city in the area then meet for lunch?
