In previous years, Indy has shut down streets to allow a big' ol "ride in" event in the heart of downtown.  Does anyone know if this will occur again this year?

//didn't find anything about it on the MotoGP page

I had a meeting with an IMS official in January and the focus for this year is to keep everyone at the track for a longer period of time i.e. have more late night events.  I wasn't told Motorcycle's on Meridian was not going to happen but I was unable to find any information on it for this year.  Makes me wonder if like you it is not happening and that early January discussion I wasn't listening Smiley

Perhaps a call to the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce would answer this?

This page says it's a go. Should be a credible source, considering they hosted this event in previous years http://www.indydt.com/redbullgp.cfm
