Looks like we will have 2 Haydens racing at indy this year

Seems to be a good group Honda has put together for a wild card ride.  Roger Lee has ridden a Erion Honda before and should know most of his crew.

Ryan,

Do you still have openings in the Ducati grandstands near turn 1 and 2? I am interested in 4 to 6 tickets but was also wondering what kind of VIP packages you may have if any??? I will also send you an e mail directly.

Regards, Matt

Trying to work out the details to make it.

One newbie question - what do you do with your gear? Mainly jacket since the helmet will hook under the seat.

Looks like a blast!

Someone mentioned gear check earlier.

I've got a 6' bicycle cable lock that stows under my seat... take it out, pass it through a sleeve on the jacket, then under the handlebars between the risers.  It kept my jacket and lid unmolested all weekend at Mid-Ohio, and this method has survived multiple trips to both The Melody Inn and various Broad Ripple locales (petty theft and drunken frat-boy vandalism meccas, respectively).

Just take anything important out of your pockets first.

There's a gear check station on Ducati Island, where you can check in all your gear for free. Granted you have a Mugello ticket.

Yep. Volunteer like us work the gear check and it's worked great the past years. You drop off your gear and bag whatever you want in a huge garbage bag. We tag it and give you a ticket that goes to the tag. When you want to pick up. You just hand over your ticket from when you dropped it off. We've had people lose their ticket and their gear gets found when the tent thins out eventually. Good system and it's run by desmo club members who volunteer.

There's a gear check station on Ducati Island, where you can check in all your gear for free. Granted you have a Mugello ticket.

you need a ducati wristband to check gear in at the foremost gear check.  at laguna seca this year keys were not acceptable to get a ducati wristband.  DOC membership, current reg or insurance card are acceptable.  indy ducati will likely have parking passes and they may provide the red wristbands too, saving a check-in at the track.

they have wanted written proof of ownership to get a wrist band for a while now.... registration, insurance card, or doc card like Ian mentioned..... in the past you could also get a wrist band for a guest if you show your paperwork so I am anticipating this again this year at Indy
