Bob, It will be good to see you again. I have a different bike now, so will need you to bring me a new Ducati Scotland sticker so that I can show my Scotish roots. We'll figure out something for you to take back in return.

good to hear from you again Bob, I was wondering how you were doing. You should have came last year, the weather was way better than the year before.

That's a pretty full weekend... would squeezing in a band bash / pub crawl Saturday night after the Indy Mile be too much, or would you guys be interested?
I think I'll want to go downtown on Saturday night. I don't see why we can't fit a ride in too. But how about Thursday night before all the craziness ensues?
I don't know exactly where we'll be living when the GP is going on, but I am certain I can help folks out if they cannot get a hotel secured.

I am getting ready to make room reservations for Ian and I. Where are the majority of the Hooligans staying this year?

I can't schedule anything for Thursday night - I have a potential nighttime meeting on my schedule, and I won't know if my attendance is required until the week before.
Saturday was the big downtown walk-around bike night last year, correct?

I'll be down Wednesday evening. Still waiting to see if Ian will come here first and drive down with me or fly straight from SoCal to Indy.

Just remembered that the circle downtown will be "pedestrian traffic only" for the whole month of August. They're trying it out to see if they want to make it that way permanently. No cars, no motorcycles, etc.

This may not happen now... the Indy Star had an article about the City waffling on this one...

I don't know about whether the circle will be open or not. If it is, I plan on being there with my pretty, blinged out Monster
I would like to tell everyone that the I-465 southbound exit to Crawfordsville Road will be closed through next May. So, if you are going to the track from North of the city, you'll be better off taking I-65. Or you could get off early at 38th Street. Coming from the South, you should be fine.
There is also significant construction traffic on I-74 on the west side of the city, just outside the I-465 loop on toward Brownsburg. This is on both Eastbound and Westbound traffic.

UH-OH. Looks like I need to scout that out when I get up there on thursday. Crawfordsville is about the only way I know to get there. I'll have to remember 38th.
