Well it was justified. It was the last AMA race for the Ducati Factory team in 2006, and the Suzuki team wanted to boycot the race. I was hanging out in the pits with the team and Bryan. So Beth and I wanted to start some shit with the Suzuki riders . Better judgement prevaled and we had a race!

I would throw down with a Boz Bros. at my back..  I mean if it was justified!

Did I ever tell you guys when Ben Bostrom and I almost started a fist fight with the Suzuki riders @ MidOhio..

Was thinking the same thing on both counts, Scout. I am a VR fanboy to the core but one race don't mean the boss is back. And Dovi and Cal brawling would be AWESOME!

I bet sometime this year Dovi and Crutchlow get into a fight!  I love watching those two race.

i guess we will have to start wishing for rain on race days. She sure looks good in the rain ( Rossi did too ). Hopefully this is beginning of a good relationship.

Hi Mario,

My name is Ryan Hollander and I am a Group Sales Representative at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  I will be the point person for the Project Mugello grandstand for the 2010 Red Bull Indianapolis GP.  I just spoke with Vicki Smith and we are planning on the tickets going on sale early next week.  The grandstand will be in the same location as last year (inside of Turn 1) and the 3-Day tickets will cost $125.  All Ducati Club Members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets in this stand.  After that, I will begin to reach out to all Ducati owners and enthusiasts.  For this year, the tickets will include the following benefits:
·         Official Red Bull Indianapolis GP Event Program
·         IMS Centennial Era Cinch Bag
·         Free Motorcycle Parade Lap on the MotoGP Course  **Date and Times still TBD
·         Free Motorcycle Parking on Ducati Island for Ducati bikes  **For other motorcycles, Free Parking is available on the backstretch of the oval course
·         10% off coupon for IMS merchandise at participating retail locations

Also, if anyone is interested in a Race Day ONLY ticket, those will be available for $105.  All the benefits will still be available for those ticket orders.

Another key point that I want to clarify is that if Ducati club members do not want to sit in the Project Mugello grandstand, they can still call me and I can book any available seat for them and the extra benefits WILL BE included with the purchase.  (The ticket price will correspond to the other seating location.)

I am planning on holding a block of seats for each respective club to do everything I can to allow club members to sit together.  Please distribute my contact information to not only your club members, but also any other Ducati club presidents you know.  I am planning to aggressively market this grandstand to club presidents and former ticket holders of the Project Mugello stand.  My goal is to sell out this 1,000 seat grandstand well before the event.  I will be the only sales representative who can input orders for this special ticket package in 2010 so if anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to have them contact me directly.

If you communicate with your groups on any ducati forums, please direct me to those websites so I can be aware of any common questions or concerns among Ducati club members.

I am looking forward to working with you and all Ducati owners for the 2010 GP!
-RH

I'm wondering what the deal will be for volunteering again in 2010.  I've had a lot of fun and enjoyed the price of the volunteer tickets

I'm sure it will be the same.  But I'll check with Vicki asap to make sure.

Does anyone have the 411 on the events scheduled around MotoGP weekend? Rides, bike night locations, etc...?

Offical Hooligan bar crawls?

Been riding an ST2 for the past year, looking forward to making a few rides when possible. I'm interested in volunteering for the Duc booth if possible but also need details on club membership as well. If someone could reach out to me with a PM that would be most appreciated.

Umm, you posted here, doesn't that make you a club member ? I'm confused.

Actually, I see Viper's point - I've been posting here for a bit, but I don't think I've ever seen a thread about whether there is any offical membership roster, dues, ID card, secret handshake, arcane ritual involving goats, etc...

Not that I'm in a hurry to shell out a bunch of cash (or do an "Elephant Walk" or some other hazing crap), but I'd feel silly slapping on one of those cool alternator covers if I wasn't actually a member.  And I don't want to abuse the discounts the sponsors offer if I'm supposed to be contributing something to the club for the priviledge first.
