Black monster, leather jacket, and full face helmet... I could see how it would be mistakable. Now if I was mistaken for him walking down the road then there would be fighting words! haha

We also need to staff our booth that we will be sharing with DRILL again.  I think last year went pretty well, we had no fights, no arguments and the booth was always manned.  I don't think we did any formal schedule, people just showed up and took over.
Lets see if we can do it again.

There was a schedule.  It was pretty well organized i thought.  I can work the booth but i will need an umbrella boy to ensure i don't get too much sun

does that mean I will be provided with an umbrella girl when I work?

I'll volunteer for a couple of shifts.

I say we either make up a semi-formal schedule, or just make up a phone list and if whomever is working needs a relief they can go down the list and call ppl to see who can cover....  might work well without making anything too strictly written?

The card trick, if it happens, will be about the the extent of my volunteering this year.

The great thing about volunteering is that nobody can make you do it Smiley  I know you've done a lot of work for the club already and I'm sure we can have others handle the booth.

Be careful what you wish for... they may stick me in something skintight and make me hover over you during your booth shift.

What exactly does one do when covering the HH booth?

we hang out and answer questions about the club and we do sell some T-shirts, stickers, etc so we have a price list and handle sales, ie take money, hand out change, etc but it's a pretty simple process.  Usually we have people at the booth in pairs so you don't end up sitting there bored and alone.... and the booths have been right there in Ducati Island so you can usually see the fashion shows, etc from the booth

you guys crack me up!

I strongly suggest a written schedule.  i don't really want to start running down a list, making 20 phone calls to ppl who aren't even there, burning up my battery and still being at the tent.  don't mean to be negative there Bryan but i think it will be better to have some structure Smiley

Looking forward to finally meeting some of you guys at the gp. Bringing the wife, hope you guys don't mind she rides a Gixer. Umbrella boy? Seriously? My wife's smoking hot, and she doesn't even need an umbrella boy.

I don't mind the input at all and I don't think structure is a bad idea.... I just know that in the past that sometimes people forget that they are signed up and don't show and then we're trying to track down substitutes anyway.  Maybe if we coordinate with people better to let them know a bit before their shift that their time is approaching and keep a list of numbers so we can call people to tell them, then it might make it work even better than the schedules we've had in the past Smiley
