Gee, I am just now reading this stuff?  LOL.  Had no clue about the hospitality tent.  I must admit I was jealous last year, being a non-owner.  But I didn't know what all the buzz was about, honestly.

So... here is Jennie's dilemma... I want to bring my kids on Sunday, and am able to pull off getting them a ride there, etc, so I can still ride the Red Snake.  But, I don't want to buy insanely high tickets for them when they'll probably just want to run around the infield.  Suggestions?

It stinks, but I have to work W,Th,Fr of this week.  I want to be a part of the action and am anxious to meet some of you!  Don't know if anyone is in town yet, but I am going to the Duc shop tomorrow (Tues) between 10 - 11.  If anyone is up for a ride around noon-time,  just PM me.  In addition, I can lead a shorty-ride on Friday night at 8pm.  It should take about 30 minutes.  If you wanna head downtown afterwards to show off your bike, everyone & his/her neighbor will be at the Circle.  Or, if you're up for euchre, I can hostess a card game.  I know the dinner party is that night, so understand if folks can't make it.

The hospital I work at is near the hotels on MI Ave that have been mentioned on here.  So, I can just meet up & lead a ride from one of the parking lots, if anyone is interested.  Holla!    Oh, and please know all brands welcome

We never used our actual seat untill the race, So if I were you I would buy regular admission seats and just hang out. You can get into the hospitality tent with your Ducati registration and a guest (I am sure we can find a Hooligan to adopt one or more of your kids to get them all wrist bands as well) The only thing you will miss out on is the card stunt.

Good thoughts, thank-you.  What is this "card stunt" you speak of?

The card stunt is when everyone in the Project Mugello grand stand holds up cards that spell ducati in white on a sea of red. Really cool. Last year it was so wet the cards were all floppy and it came out so so, but considering the conditions I think we did pretty well.

Here is an picture of the card stunt at Indy last year. That is me in the "D" if you squint your eyes just right I think you can see me...

and you can actually see a fair bit of the track from the island area that is open to the public so even without a seat in the Project Mugello grand stand it is still a great place to hang out for the day
