On Saturday April 5th, 2008 many of our members traveled from all over Indiana to meet up at Carrmoto.  We were there primarily to hang out and to present a giant club banner for display on the wall of the dealership.  Many of us also got a bit of work done to have our bikes ready for this great weather we're having and expecting over the coming months.  They had an 848, Hypermotard 1100S, Multistrada 1100S, and Sport 1000 available for demo rides and several members may have found the new bike they didn't know they wanted    The weather was great so this was a real treat.

Members were arriving and leaving over the course of the day so it's a bit hard to keep track of how many of us were actually there throughout the day, but I know I was able to meet many members that I'd not met before and see a bunch of cool bikes I hadn't seen.  I bet that there had to be 20 people or more there at one point.

When the shop was getting ready to close we met inside and had a bit of a photo op, then proudly hung the banner on the wall.  If you haven't seen it, you can't miss it.  It's damn near 3 feet high and 5 feet long and it hangs on the wall just to the left of their parts counter.  Afterwards, about 15 of us headed over to Bucca di Beppo for dinner.  Considering the fact that some of us had a long, cold ride home, we stayed quite late hanging out and having a blast!

I had a great time and I hope everyone else that participated did too.  This was a great way to start off the new riding season!  It was great to meet new people and put a face with a name for others.  I hope to see you all again soon

I've created a collective photo album in our gallery.  If you have photos from the event, please feel free to post them there.  If you have trouble, or have a bunch of pics contact me and I can help get them uploaded easily.

The collective album can be found here

Thanks to all that showed up, and to the new people we met. Great turn out! And I rode the Hyper for about 35 miles and downtown Indy   fun bike but not my cup of espresso.
It was great to meet some of the new guys that signed up and see some good old friends again (hi Rob) but above all was good to get my S4Rs back after a set of new tires, new forks' springs (someone has been eating too much pasta) and a 7500 miles service.
I have to say that I'm very pleased with the Work Matt and his crew has done to the bike, and for the extra own time that Matt spent trying to find the sweet spot on my new resprong forks.
Matt is not just a diplo-Matt (Wink) he's also a perfectionist who takes pride in his work.  He'll bend backwards to please a customer
The banner looks great and I wish Bill was there to express my gratitude to him, for allowing us to hang our banner in his store.
Thanks again to all the people supporting this club without you we would not be here

It was great meeting new Hooligans and seeing friends again.

Those pictures are great. I think everyone had a good time.

I know I did. Even if I did get popcycleized on the way home.

Great start to 2008. Let's keep it up!

Did anyone get any pics down town?

Should have seen the Ducatis at the end of a row of about 50 Harleys.

People even came up and asked: "Is this the Italian section?".

Poser? Hey we were being ourselves.

That roundabout was cool. As close as I live, had never seen that before.

Let's go back and pose.
