It looks like the weather is signaling that its time for another fall ride... I was contemplating going on a quick Sunday afternoon ride out to the "Haute" area. There are some nice roads west of Greencastle. That way we can avoid the Leaf Watching traffic. If anybody is interested let me know?

Looking at the distances it may just make sense to head south to 135? We are planning to meet somewhere in the NE side of Indy at 10:00 AM Sunday. I will post as soon as we have a meeting spot. For you southerners, if there is any interest let me know what a good meeting point is?

I live in southg Indy. A good place to meet would be in Nashville, IN. Say the Speedway gas stationat the intersection of 46 and 135 at 11:00 AM?

Or does someone else have a better place / time / idea?

Hey, Earache.  Long time no talk.  You got a birthday coming up soon, old man.  Riding Sunday?  One last ride for the season is what I'm thinking.  I'm planning to ride the usual down 135 and 58, etc.  Try and meet you at the Speedway station about 11:00 a.m.  See if this 999 can keep up with you on the fun roads!

Hey Jim Bob! Sounds like a plan to me.
And I quit having birthdays about 4 years ago

We plan to meet at I465 & 56th street in the Lawrence Central High School parking lot at 10:00 AM.

I am not sure we will make it to Nashville at 11:00. We plan to ride 135 so we may see you on the road?

Sounds good - look for Jim's 999, my Sport 1000 and my friend Brad on a Honda VFR800 - red, white and blue in color. You shouldn't be that far behind us. We'll try to hang out a bit at the Speedway and wait.

Just got back from today's ride down 135 & 58 - shitloads of lady bugs in the air, so bring something to clean your faceshields with.

Sounds like a plan... I will be on my 750 SS with friends on some kind of Honda cruiser and a YZF 600. We will be heading south on I65 - SR44 to SR135.

Good day for a ride! Saw Giladl and his friend on Route 58 at the 58 Cafe (SUCKS!!!) but had fun riding.
That'll probably be it for me for the rest of the year unless it stays warm.

Nice ride. It was great meeting you Eric, although I had a tough time keeping up  Embarrassed

The wreck cleared out 15 min after you guys left. It was a guy on a Harley and it did not look pretty. We rode with the guy on the Honda ST (and the chocolate chip cookies  ) back north.
