ok, so what day exactly am i signed up for?  and i'll work for 1 or 2 tix if possible (bringing the little guy, Jake).  i might need to adjust my other volunteer days for the clubs, which is NBD.

Oh crap Jen, you didn't specify before that you wanted a free tix.  So Vicki only gave you one shift. You need two shifts for the ticket, and you can only get one ticket. I'll get a hold of her and see if I can get you another shift and the date/times.

Dear Team Ducatisti Volunteer,
 If you are getting this email it means you are on the Indy MotoGP Ducati Island Team Ducatisti staff so first let me say “thanks so much” again because there is no way an event of this size could run without your help!
 
I have attached an Excel spreadsheet made up of three pages (see the tabs on the bottom to switch between schedules), Hospitality, gear check and parking.  Please verify your shift or shifts and if there is any problem let me know asap so I can fix it now and not at the track. If you are responsible for others (several clubs have volunteered as a group with one person managing the times and details) please make sure that your group gets this information and re-confirm the details with each member.
 
If you are picking up a Ducati Island parking pass, and/or race tickets here are the instructions for where they will be.  If special arrangements need to be made such as leaving your items at the DOC hotel desk please reconfirm with me that this is noted so I don’t take them to the wrong place:
 
Directions to the IMS Ticket Office
Street address is 4790 West 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.  It is located right on the corner of 16th Street and Georgetown Road.  Crawfordsville Road is also an adjacent road to the office.  The building is just outside of Turn 1 of the oval track.  When entering from the front, turn right and head straight towards the ticket counter.  Make sure you have a valid photo ID and tell the attendant that you are picking up your “Ducati Volunteer package.”  This is very important because your tickets and vouchers will be kept separately from other customers.
 
Tickets will be at the IMS office after 11am Thursday.  (You do not need a ticket to get into the track on Thursday)
 
ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT DUCATI ISLAND: Ducati Island is once again inside gate 2 at pit exit and turn 1.  Please check in 15 minutes before your shift with the Volunteer Manager (Vicki Smith or Barbara Moore) in the gear check tent which will be located at the end of Ducati Island closest to gate 2. It’s near the bathroom building.  You will be given a staff shirt when you check in for each shift.
 
If you have any questions about any of this let me know, and again thanks so much.  I’m looking forward to a really great weekend, you’re going to see some big changes and I am certain we are going to have the best Indy Ducati Island ever…….
