Tix and the same room I had last year at Country Inn and Suites (Living room with wet bar at the top of the lobby steps).  Damn, I'll have to listen to DesmOhio Eric's burnouts again and Chicchini's waaay to loud sedici.  I hope Paul Smart shows up for the party again this year...I need his signature on my bike.  Just three months to go!

RED BULL INDIANAPOLIS GP FEATURES THREE DAYS OF ALL-OUT ACTION

GPreview to give Race Day ticket holders up-close look at MotoGP machines Aug. 28

INDIANAPOLIS, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 - The three-day event schedule for the 2009 Red Bull Indianapolis GP will resemble the great racing on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - exciting and packed with action.

All of the superstars of MotoGP, the world's most prestigious motorcycle series, will compete on the 2.621-mile road course Friday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Aug. 30, with the future stars of the sport also racing in the 125cc and 250cc classes.

"The Red Bull Indianapolis GP schedule provides three days of non-stop excitement," said Joie Chitwood, IMS president and chief operating officer. "We're excited to build upon the success of last year's inaugural MotoGP race at IMS and offer great value to our fans as they watch some of the most thrilling racing on Earth."

Red Bull Indianapolis GP events will start Friday morning, Aug. 28 with the Red Bull Indianapolis GPreview, which includes a variety of fan-friendly activities, including a pit walk for Race Day ticket holders, question-and-answer sessions with riders and industry officials, an auction to benefit the Riders for Health charity and more.

On-track action starts Friday afternoon, with one-hour practice sessions for all three classes, MotoGP, 250cc and 125cc. Defending Red Bull Indianapolis GP winner and six-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi and fellow stars Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso will turn laps along with American stars Colin Edwards and Nicky Hayden, while Americans Stevie Bonsey and Cameron Beaubier are competing in 250cc and 125cc, respectively.

Qualifying will take center stage Saturday, Aug. 29. Two hours and 40 minutes of combined morning practice will set the stage for exciting showdowns for the pole position in all three classes Saturday afternoon.

Riders will be on track for more than five hours combined Saturday.

Track activity on Race Day, Sunday, Aug. 30, will start in the morning with warm-up sessions for all three classes, followed by pre-race ceremonies and three feature races.

Other activities during the weekend will include a concert with Crash, a band led by Yamaha Tech 3 MotoGP rider James Toseland, appearances and photo opportunities with Red Bull Indianapolis GP Grid Girls, and more.

The Vendor Marketplace will be filled with enthusiasts' favorite motorcycle apparel and gear from major brands. The Manufacturer Display will feature new motorcycle models and accessories for fans to view.

Here are the details for the 5 day Ducati Owners Clubs party at IndyGP “Project Mugello” .  I spoke to the speedway today, it’s likely the tickets will be sold out by the end of July, the Country Inn has a few rooms left (because I just released some I was holding) and the Holiday Inn is getting close to the date we don’t get the package and the Ducati Owners welcome packages in the rooms.  Once this stuff is booked, that’s it, so if you, your club members or friends are planning on being at the biggest 5 day Ducati party in the USA you’d better make your plans now……

I think they will let you trade them in.  I'd call the contact at IMS and ask her.  Wouldn't hurt.
