2009 Great Lakes Ducati Rally and Trackfest

Fellow Ducatisti,

I can honestly say that I am very pleased with the positive responses and thanks that I have received after this years event.  But none of it would be possible without the help and participation of the club volunteers, various D.O.C. clubs, sponsors and vendors that attended this year. 

What: 3rd Annual Great Lakes Ducati Rally and Trackfest
Where: Gingerman Raceway Park and surrounding area
When: August 8th and 9th, 2009
Why:  Why keep a good thing down, let's do it bigger and better next year!!

As this event grows it is becoming more and more necessary to start planning next years event the minute this year's is over.   All involved parties including Ducati, Red Bull and STT are excited about the possibilities for next year.  Planning is now officially underway so we hope to see you in South Haven again next year!

NOTES: 

 - The event weekend has been moved up one week to accomodate the Duc Truck for next year.

 - If you plan on hoteling it next year, start booking your hotel room's now as this weekend will now coincide with the Blueberry Festival in South Haven and hotel space will be at a premium.

 - There is tons of camping available if camping is your thing.

 -  Gingerman's track will be undergoing some exciting changes during the winter.

Mario and Bryan, feel free to move or sticky this at your discretion.

There has been some confusion as to the date of this event. Please note that the event IS August 8th & 9th.

Tim (Duvailer) president of DucsUnlimited asked me to get a headcount of our members willing to volunteer this year, so that staff shirts can be ordered.
Im going to need this count by Friday July 3rd.

Thanks Daren I might take you on it. Actually Matt just called me it seems that it's fixed agin. (there was a coolant leak into the crankcase) Now just waiting on my replacement fuel tank to come in.

Damn. Ducati will be buying you a new bike (one piece at a time) by the time it is all done. If ya want to use the SS let me know (I will trade you the squad car for the weekend  ). You can leave your car in the driveway  for the weekend.
