Due to popular demand, I have changed the date of the group ride to Saturday Aug 18, as there will be more spectator events going on throughout that day and into the evening.

Also It has been suggested by a couple of individuals that we may want to camp (to indulge in shenanigans) Sat. night. A friend of Earl's is willing to pull his trailer up there with his truck, to take some of our camping gear.

Just a note to everyone, demo rides will be every hour on the hour throughout the weekend and you must sign a waiver to participate. They will be starting at 9am and running until 5 pm.

The Vendor Area and Dyno will run the same hours as well. Please support the vendors that come to the event as without their participation the event would not be what it is.

We will be having seperate raffles each day at the event. There will be a grand prize given each day. Each Ducati owner or trackday participant will get one free raffle ticket, additional tickets can be purchased for $ 2 each. We will announce the location of the raffle drawing each day and where more tickets can be purchased. You need not be present to win.

Sorry for the lack of information but we have been putting in tons of effort and time to work out the details of all this stuff. There are a lot of participants and much to cover.

We will have an Info Booth setup with the weekend schedule, area guides from local chambers of commerce and visitor centers, track and paddock maps, lists of local hotels and more.

Any questions can be directed to info@ducsunlimited.com

Btw, if you guys have t-shirts to spare.  We'd like to trade you a couple of ours for a couple of yours to add to the raffle.

Also if you are planning on coming up Saturday, be sure to stick around Saturday night, we have the live band and a very special event immediately following their performance courtesy of Red Bull.

Pray for dry weather.

Thanks, sounds like there will be a good turnout.  I"ll be meeting Ducati at the track around noon/1 pm on Friday.  Setup will commence from there and last until completed.  Anyone is welcome to pitch in.

I'll post this as a reminder for eveyrone:

We all camp at the track, it's convenient and they have pretty decent shower facilities.

Gate is $ 5 per day
Camping is $ 5 per day.

Electricity is $ 20 for the weekend.  Facility is RV friendly.

If I'm not riding on the track, then what??

Well very good question.  Here goes.....

1. Demo rides are Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm along with all other activities. Ducati motorcycles courtesy of Lifecycles Ducati and Rosenau Powersports. The exact models have not yet been finalized. No one will be disappointed.

2. Red Bull related activities are a surprise and at their request will remain anonymous until they happen. If I told you I'd have to kill you.....

3. There won't be any stunt teams or the like. The only people doing crazy things on crazy bikes will be the people out on the track. We will have a "Concourse of Excellence" where a number of vintage, current and tricked out Ducati's will be displayed. We are asking people to ride the area around the track and along the coast of Lake Michigan and to catalog their ride routes for future years.

4. There will be vendors such as Rosenau Powersports, Lifecycles, Sportbike Track Gear, Split Second Photo, Superbike Italia (Ohlins dealer), Shadow Video, Michelin Tire Service, Walt Michal RV, and Metal Signwerks. All the regional DOC Ducati clubs will have displays as well. They will be well represented by DU, DesmOhio, Ducati ROC, Hoosier Hooligans, DRILL and Moccha. There may be other vendors that just "show" up. You never know.

5. Lifecycle is bringing their dyno and it will be available 9 am to 5 pm like the other vendors. The cost will be reduced for the event, but they will announce that at the track.

6. There is an onsite food/drink vendor with reasonable prices that is open 8 am till 5 pm every day and there will be a low cost BBQ on Saturday night prior to the band. There are also plenty of great restaurants and bars in town for those that want to explore or eat out. We will be providing recreational directories from South Haven, Saugatuck and Holland for attendees at our info booth upon request.

7.  We will also be having raffles each day with some very nice prizes. Each person attending that is a Ducati owner (proof required) or a trackday participant will get one free raffle ticket and additional tickets can be purchased for $ 2 each. The drawings will be at the end of the day each day.

8.  We will also have some yard games (bocce ball, bean bag toss, etc.) and a kid area for people to chill out and relax.

9.  There will be an Exhaust Sound Off Competition on Sunday as well.  No cost to enter, all makes of bikes welcome.

10.  Live performance by the Orbtisuns on Saturday evening.  Check them out at www.orbitsuns.com.

Cya this weekend!
