Sorry about the missing bits. Someone opened all the packages during the past moto go in lndy, and the o-rings and screws got lost on all the covers l have left.    l figure the stock ones would have worked the same..   Now how far are you from ace cafe? Wink

Mario I'm not complaining about the missing bits but just making sure that I got the correct size O-ring...

I don't under stand why it takes a different size O-ring to the OE when the other cover that I purchased from corsair for the hypermotard takes the OE O-ring without a problem... Undecided

Now to answer your question, its just over 200 miles from home to the Ace, I've stopped there for a cuppa afew times in the late 60s-early 70s when we worked out of Fords dagenham plant on new car drive teams, if you want some thing picking up I'll get one of the guys from down south to get it...

Any chance of future orders of these and getting custom colors?

you want to bastardize our logo??

seriously though, I suppose anything is possible.  The cover is ordered in black anodizing and I inlay it with the red, green, and white enamel.  I think Cody makes makes covers anodized in black, blue, gold, red, and clear (silver).  I could probably special order any of these base colors and then inlay pretty much any color, or leave the color out of some, or all, the sections.  Beneath the color is raw aluminum with milling machine marks so it does have some swirls that look a bit like jeweling.  You might like it that way or might prefer the enamel to give it a more finished look.

If you want something custom lemme know and I think we can accomodate.

Sweet.  I had thought about this awhile back but just didn't feel the colors would go with my bike.  I like the HH logo a lot and if it's cool with changing the colors I would definitely like one with the custom colors I mentioned earlier.  Replace the green with red, replace the white stripe with black, and leave the teeth raw.  Might need to see a picture of it that way to then decide whether the teeth should be left raw or finished in white.

Thanks.

Easy to do.  I'd wonder whether the stripe done in black would work well with the black anodizing.... there would certainly be a bit of contrast in the enamel and anodizing, but I don't know if it would really pop

I understand the green, white, red are the Italian colors and I like the way it looks.  Just don't really think I would like them on my bike.  That's why I changed out the D-ball logos on my bike with white stripe for ones with a black stripe.  As it is I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the blue anodizing on my fork adjusters or changing out the adjusters altogether.  I know I am probably being anal or showing OCD tendencies because of this but that's just me.

Easy to do.  I'd wonder whether the stripe done in black would work well with the black anodizing.... there would certainly be a bit of contrast in the enamel and anodizing, but I don't know if it would really pop

Cool.  Let me know when you have a new batch.  I think the black stripe would look good.  Just not sure about the teeth color.  I think the silver would better match my color scheme but may look odd.  Who knows, might look like a hooligan with a silver grill

I know sTD has one that is unpainted on his bike - maybe he can snap a photo sometime to give you/us a look at the teeth after they weather a bit - I know with it being unanodized that it should probably dull a bit and not look too blinged out but I don't know exactly how it would turn out.  I need to place a new order sometime so I'll get working on that and we can figure out precisely how you'd like it to look
